Paperwork weighs in at CU Brainstorm Event

The Brainstorm Event hosted by CU 2.0 offers interactive discussions about big topics in banking and technology.

Industry leaders and experts tackle 2023’s biggest issues facing credit unions and the debate is often lively and insightful. This year, Paperwork took center stage with its CEO, Kevin Cimring, participating on the panel about How Credit Unions Can Find New Value in Aging Memberships.

The panel was moderated by Chris Otey of CU 2.0 and featured Cimring along with fellow panelists, Michele Dean, CEO of Suffolk Credit Union and Kirk Kordeleski from OM Financial. The panel discussed the unique needs and strengths of older members, and shared notes on how to create relevant products and services that appeal to this demographic. Insights were also shared on how to effectively communicate and engage with older adults when it comes to their financial needs.

Considering that people aged 50+ make up almost one third of our population and that the average age of a credit union member is around 50 years, this is a significant customer segment that deserves much focus and attention.
