We’re committed to your security and privacy.

We know how important your data is to you. Paperwork uses the best encryption in the business to keep your data private and secure. Unlike other financial apps, we never sell your data.

Invested in industry-leading security

We’ve invested heavily in making sure our platform uses the most up-to-date industry protocols. Your documents are encrypted using AES 256-bit encryption, stored anonymously on remote servers, and can only be accessed with encryption keys.

Partnered with Plaid

We use Plaid to securely connect more than 15,000 financial institutions across the U.S. While going through your Paperwork Path, you will be asked to enter your online banking credentials. These credentials never touch our servers, nor are they stored by us in any way. Your credentials are sent through Plaid to your bank or credit card provider. Plaid then sends back an encrypted token to us which provides access to your transactional data. We cannot make any changes to your account. You can revoke our access token by unlinking your account at any time.

Secured on AWS Servers

We host our servers securely using Amazon Web Services (AWS), a secure online data storage and hosting service that is used by the Department of Defense, NASA, and the Financial Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Your financial data on our servers will never be accessed or used by any other party.

Your data is yours

Paperwork uses your data only to provide services to you. We maintain a redundant server infrastructure and secure backups so that your data is synchronized with your device. That way you can still access it securely in case you’re offline.
